The real "Kill or Be Killed"

Let me repeat, I didn't make up "Kill or Be Killed". It's the first comic I've done based on a story and characters not written by me. It's based on a great martial arts movie shot in the 70s but released in the 80s. Now, I took some artistic liberties with the plot, but I just got a copy of the video, and I think by reading my comic, you'll get a pretty close approach to the real thing. Here's the castle in the desert...

...and Von Rudloff's karate army...

...Steve...

...Von Rudloff, that crazy Nazi villain with a castle in the middle of the South African desert, a karate army and a midget.

...Olga. I can't draw a woman that hot.

...You'd think I made up the "Chicomobile" but no. It's also in the movie (ok. I made up the name)...

...you know what I didn't made up too? The Karate Torch Fight. It's also in the movie...

...okay, so Chico's puppet in the movie is a voodoo doll in the comic. It's not like I'm making a photocopy of the film anyway...

Like it so far? I'm planning to have the story in Intrepid Comics #2, which hopefully will come out this winter. In the meantime, you can subscribe to it with your RSS reader. I'll be posting new pages on this file until I finish it. Let me know what you think!
